The Aboriginal people of the Darkinjung, Darug, Dharawal, Gundungurra, Wanaruah and Wiradjuri language groups welcome you to the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.
Living Country projects are part of co-management which is the cooperative, consultative, coordinated and considerate involvement of Aboriginal people in the management of the parks and reserves that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.
In co-management with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, part of the Office of Environment & Heritage, representatives of these groups are working on projects including connecting to Country, cultural heritage recording, Aboriginal tourism projects, Aboriginal educational programs and culture camps.
